Mac Sherman Harris is a former college teacher, speech writer and nuclear communications professional. During his more than 35 years as a commercial writer, he has written speeches, news releases and magazine articles for corporate chairman, heads of national trade associations, and national political figures. He is the author of a study of North Carolina public television commissioned by the state’s university system, two novels, four plays, and numerous skits. He is active in community theater as an actor and play director, and currently manages a community theater. He is shown here standing in the control room simulator of a nuclear power plant.
